The course focuses on the business aspects that employers and potential clients expect event planners to know right away. How do I find the program that is right for me?

It is important to do your research based on your short and long term goals. Individuals seeking a certification with 3-5 years of experience as a Special Event Planner should consider the CSEP offered through ILEA. Those seeking a certification with 5-7 years of experience in the Meeting Industry should consider the CMP offered through MPI. Local colleges and universities also offer certificate programs in their hospitality departments or within their continuing adult education curriculum. The Correlations course is geared towards new and aspiring event planners seeking immediate training to ensure they begin their careers in the right direction.
